The planing knife lies at an angle of 45° in the planing bed. The planer body is made of solid red beech, the glued-on plane sole of tough hornbeam. The plane iron in our Pinie planes is from the premium range of the Czech manufacturer. It has a hardness of 60 Rockwell.
